Do clip in hair extensions hurt?

Do clip in hair extensions hurt?
It is a fear and misconception that wearing extensions can hurt or cause pain to the wearer. It is not unheard of that it can hurt and it does happen sometimes, but there are ways around the pain.
Many women wear hair extensions and many of them complain from tugging and pulling. This is found more often in hair weaves, glued in extensions, and sewn in extensions. If applied properly clip in hair extensions should not hurt or cause you any kind of pain. Many hair extension suppliers and stores have clips that have a tiny piece of silicon on the bottom to prevent pulling of the hair. If you feel pain when wearing your clip ins, check to see if it has the little piece of silicon. If it does not then it might be best to sew in new clips of buy new hair extensions all together. Many companies will not advertise that their clips have silicon on them because it is a common thing to have. However, if you manage to find the company that sells them without silicon, then it was simply your bad luck. It might be because that company is trying to save money and keeping the cost of the clips down or simply because they are unaware of the discomfort they are causing the woman who purchase from them. It could be important to contact your supplier before purchasing. If you are buying high quality hair extensions like from Celebrity Strands or any other well known hair extension companies you probably do not have to worry because they make sure the clips are the best of quality as well as the hair itself.
If your hair extension clips do have the little piece of rubber or silicon and it still hurts and pulls your hair make sure you put them in properly. Sometimes little strands of hair can get separated at an odd angle that might cause some discomfort. It is also possible that a piece of your hair got caught in a tiny screw on the clip. Again, with higher end extensions this shouldn't be something you should be worried about but it is normal if it happens every once in a while. Once you get the hang of putting in your clip on hair extensions you will know how to do it with the least amount of discomfort and the most amount of mere pleasure and good vibes.
Like with anything it takes practice to apply them into your hair with the most amount of comfort. Once you know what your doing and have the best quality products, we are sure your going to enjoy every second with your long gorgeous, pain free extensions

  4. Clip-in hair extensions are the best and most practical alternative for many women. They are affordable, have a quick and simple application and removal process, and can be changed frequently to match one's mood or style. With most things that make our lives easier, there are some drawbacks. Clip-in hair extensions can cause damage to your natural hair, which in some cases is permanent. This is bad news for people who are using clip-in hair extensions to cover up areas of hair loss since it can exacerbate the problem.
